Stanford is a huuuuge campus! After a peaceful lunch around some amazing architecture, it was time to rush across campus to Dr. Fogg’s class. Stanford in general reminded me of a suburban college town, much like Penn State in Happy Valley where I graduated from. But it was still a bustling campus with lots and lots of bikes and pedestrians who were more entitled to right of way than the pedestrians in LA we always complain about. If you were in a car, you spent lots of quality time waiting at lights and stop signs.
And of course, being such a big campus we found ourselves lost…and running late for class. It felt like being a new student all over again. But still, a great lunch around wonderful architecture…and some afternoon exercise to wake us up.
